2021 Equality Cup Football Festival
Girls Play Global’s second annual soccer tournament, The 2021 Equality Cup, was a success amidst the uncertainties with the COVID crisis. Following last years’s theme of climate action, this year, our tournament took on a new theme: ‘Live to Inspire’ in hopes of building a generation of girls who will inspire themselves, and others, to pursue their love for sport fearlessly.
We had over 150 girls participate in the Equality Cub to further our mission of improving access to soccer for girls across rural India while championing the message of creating a new and inspiring generation of strong female athletes and role models.
Together, we can build an equitable and sustainable world.
